STUDENT REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTED LEVELS OF ACHIEVEMENT
A student taking this course will be expected to:

participate in all class discussions, projects
and assigments.

study materials presented in class and in the
readings.

complete homework assignments.

pass quizzes and tests at a minimum proficiency
level.

pass district wide examinations at a specified
level of mastery.

complete at least two research projects in which
he/she takes on an historical issue and defends it with evidence and explanations.

utilize library resources and technology effectivelyt
to complete assignments.
-
attend class in compliance with the school district
attendance policy. (Seven Days absence may result in failure)
